CREATE A RESERVATION

We accept credit card, cheque or e-transfer. Please note there will be a 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction fee for any credit card purchase.
We require a 25% non-refundable deposit and a signed rental agreement at the time of booking to secure your rental. The remaining balance of the rental must be paid 24 hours prior to delivery or pick up.
DELIVERY OPTIONS
Pick up and drop off options are available for all orders.
For pick up orders, order pick up and return service is available Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm.
For deliveries, we ask you for specific information in order to get a better idea to accurately quote the cost of delivery. Factors that will be considered when producing delivery quotes:
- size of your order
- the location of your event
- timeline of your day
- If set up/take down services are needed
- accessibility to venue
Upon arrival, should delivery circumstances change, additional charges may occur.
RENTAL PERIOD
Pricing of products are based on a one day rental. Please notify us during your reservation period if you require rentals longer than this.
If you would like to pick up a day early or return a day late you may be charged for an additional day of rental.
How To Avoid Additional Charges
PICKUP/DELIVERY
Additional charges will apply if items are returned later than the contracted return date and time. Renter will be charged if failure to arrive on time occurs.
RENTAL ITEMS
Renter agrees to take all items 'as is'. There will be no additional discounts or refunds provided on account of any alleged representation or warranty as to the merchantability or fitness of the rental property.
We always appreciate when the items are returned in their cleanest form, however, the cost of cleaning for each product is already included in the price of the item.
Glasses & plates: all glasses and plates must be placed back in original packaging with materials provided at delivery. These items do not need to be thoroughly washed, but must be free of food and beverage. Glasses must be packed brim down.
Linens: we have a very strict policy in regards to linen rentals as they are much more susceptible to mold, mildew and stains. For linen rentals, all linens must be dry before being placed in the linen bag for their return. Failure to do so will result in additional charges. If linens require dry cleaning due to stains or odor, the renter will cover the bill.
All items being rented must be taken down and gathered in one specific location for a convenient pick up. Failure to do so unless agreed upon will result in additional labor charges paid by the renter.
For order returns to our warehouse, please make sure all items are packed in their original containers to ensure a safe arrival. Liability of items is still on the renter until items have been safely returned to the drop off point.
LIABILITY
Broken/missing items:
Before your order is sent out, it is pulled and double checked; however sometimes mistakes are made. Please contact us immediately if you discover a discrepancy; if it is after hours, please leave a message or send an email. We need to be notified prior to your event so we can attempt to fix the error. If notice is received after your event, the items will be considered missing. These same rules apply to equipment not working, we need to be notified so we can try and fix the issue - report of faulty equipment once the event is over will still result in regular rental fees.
The renter is responsible for all rented items from delivery/pick up until the moment we come to collect the item on location or the items are returned back to our warehouse. Customers are responsible for all breakage and lost equipment that happens during that time. Should items not be returned due to theft, the renter is still required to cover replacement expenses. Mix Event Rentals encourages our renters to inquire about insurance to protect yourself should theft or loss occur.
All items used by the renter are expected to be returned in the same condition as it was provided. Failure to do so will result in replacement or fixing of item at the renters expense. The renter agrees to cover all costs associated with replacing or fixing the item, including purchase price, taxes/import duties and transportation. After the event, once items have been inspected, the renter will be billed for replaced items and will have 30 days to pay the invoice. Failure to do so will result in Mix Event Rentals charging the credit card on file without consent of the renter. Should payment fail, the renter agrees to a 3% interest charge per month that will apply after the first 30 days until the outstanding invoice is paid. Should matters proceed and Mix Event Rental chooses to pursue legal action, renter will cover all costs associated with collecting the owed amount.
Missing return items will be deemed as lost or broken and will be billed accordingly. If the renter can locate the missing items within 3 days of receiving the invoice post event, Mix Event Rental will provide the renter with a new invoice minus the returned pieces.
Pickup/Delivery:
For liability purposes, we require a delivery or pick up contact. We ask that you provide us with this contacts’ information 24 hours prior to the arranged pick up/delivery time - we will ask for this prior to charging you for the remainder of your rental bill. This contact must be available at the time of drop off to receive the items and sign off on quantities and condition of the items. For pick ups, this contact will also be asked to sign off on quantities and condition of the items. Failure to meet at the time of pick up/delivery will result in charges due to rescheduled pick up/delivery.
We do not deliver items without a designated contact.
Renter agrees to have site cleaned and ready for delivery and installation or dismantled for pickup or the equipment, and also agrees to pay any additional charges for any delay incurred along with any labor charges resulting in renter's failure to do so.
DAMAGE WAIVER FEE (OPTIONAL)
We offer an optional 8% non-refundable damage waiver fee for all rentals. This optional damage waiver covers the renter for 100% of the first $200.00 in damage only. The damage waiver fee is not insurance. This damage waiver fee does not cover replacement costs for items that have been stolen, gone missing or was used and then broken at anything outside the agreed event.
REVISION & CANCELLATION POLICY
We require a 25% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking to secure your rental. The remaining balance of the rental must be paid 1 business day prior to delivery or pick up.
All of our rentals are first come first. Which means once you put down your retainer and reserve your items with us, we no longer allow that availability to any other customer. For these reasons we have a cancellation policy in effect.
For cancellations, please see below:
Cancellations within 5 days of the scheduled event will be charged their full rental bill.
Cancellations within 14 days of the scheduled event will be charged 50% of their full rental bill.
Cancellations within 30 days of the scheduled event will be charged 25% of their full rental bill.
Order Changes:
You have until 7 days prior to your scheduled event to make changes to your order.
Should you like to add additional items to your order, you may do this up to 3 days prior to your scheduled event should the items be available for rent
Assumption of Risk
Renter agrees all risk, and agrees to hold Mix Event Rentals and any of its staff harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, liabilities, and damage, and all costs and expenses arising directly and indirectly at or relating to; The delivery, loading, unloading, erection, installation, dismantling, and use of rented equipment, all claims for damage to property or bodily injury (including death) resulting from the use, operation or possession of the items, whether or not it be claimed or found that such damage or injury resulted in whole or part from Mix Event Rentals negligence, from the defective condition of the items, or any other cause. YOU AGREE THAT NO WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTIBILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE HAVE BEEN MADE IN CONNECTION WITH THE EQUIPMENT RENTED.
Renter also acknowledges that they are solely liable for any charges related to such claims or contract terms, including collection fees, attorney or court costs and expenses that Mix Event Rentals incurs while enforcing this Agreement.
By accepting this Agreement, the Renter consents to its terms and conditions in full, and acknowledges that they pertain to all Mix Event Rentals invoices regardless whether such documents include their own terms.
